The new amendment made to the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana (JBMPVY) by the CM, Delhi, Shri Arvind Kejriwal on 3rd September, 2019 allows the Civil Services aspirants, undergoing coaching, a financial assistance of Rs. 1 Lakh.

The financial aid required to sharpen one’s knowledge is a boon for those who could not have afforded the same otherwise.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates
The candidates need to have the required academic qualification.
Students would be provided coaching based on the various criteria of the coaching institution(s).
The benefit extended to OBCs and the EWS categories is applicable only to the people who are the residents of Delhi. Besides, they would be required to produce the certificates, mark sheets etc., for the 10th and the 12th std exams.
Only those students would be allowed to receive the benefit whose family income is less than Rs. 8 Lakhs/year.
The caste and income certificates, apart from other sufficient documents must be produced in order to avail of the benefits.
The benefit would be provided to a student only twice.
The students, thus selected, as per the Yojana, would be required to attend all the classes.
Coaching would be available free of cost for the Prelims and the Mains.
Coaching Centres
Only those institutions that have already been registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860/Companies Act, 2013 are eligible
The institution must have a prior experience of providing coaching at least for 3 years in the field with at least 100 students
The institution must have proper infrastructure
Details of the Financial Support
Civil Service Exam (Prelims) – Rs.1 Lakh
Civil Service Exam (Mains) – Rs.1 Lakh
The coaching centres would also provide the Monthly Stipend for Rs.2500 under the JBMPVY scheme.
How to Apply?
The application form for the Yojana may be availed from the approved coaching centre. Fill it providing the details and also the documents required and submit the form thus completed for getting registered for the Yojana.
The benefits including free coaching, and the stipends would be provided by the coaching institution after submitting the application form.
